The “Eye” Mirror was born from the fusion of the eye motif an enduring symbol in Turkish culture and the traditional art of copper working.
Forged brass plates, shaped using specialized coppersmithing techniques, create distinctive surface patterns. These textures are reinterpreted through a modern design language and paired with a clean circular form, introducing a contemporary character to the piece. The frame’s profile transitions from wide to narrow along its depth, enhancing the sculptural quality of the mirror and adding a subtle sense of dimensionality.
